Long Leg Tours

Real reward for your legwork

Volunteers

Long Leg Tours is always on the lookout for keen volunteers to help with both the one-day sportives and the multi-day challenges across Europe. With all your travel and food costs covered you’ll be rewarded for your time by knowing that you have worked alongside the event staff to ensure the smooth running of an event, supporting and keeping safe the cyclists, as well as meeting a great bunch of people who will be very pleased to see you at an event, particularly if you are manning one of our food stops!

If you are a keen cyclist yourself, you can also receive discounted entry into one of our next events!

Helping out as a volunteer on one of our events can be very rewarding, as you’ll be supporting others to complete personal challenges, some of whom may well be family and friends. You could also be part of an event raising money to support charity organisations, as many of the cyclists entering our events are doing so as a fundraising project.

There are many ways to get involved as we require volunteers to help with a range of positions, including but not limited to:

  • Registration of riders on the day
  • Car park attendants
  • Marshalls
  • First Aid
  • Route planning
  • Water and food stop staff
  • Support vehicle drivers

The type and number of volunteers needed will depend upon the event you are looking to be involved in.

To register your interest in volunteering with us, please submit your details via the form below and we will be in touch. Many thanks!

Really enjoyed the Slepe Morning Sportive. Food was particularly good. Thanks for the excellent organisation.

The Slepe Morning Sportive was a really good event – excellent signposting, well-stocked feed station with good variety, and engaging staff – I would certainly try other events run by Long Leg Tours.

John Hardwick

Really enjoyed the recent Slepe Morning Sportive organised by Long Leg Tours. Route was very well signposted and the halfway stop had a generous spread of food and drinks! All round, a great event – I would highly recommend it!
