The route will not be fully sign posted, a riders info pack will be emailed out the week before the ride, this will contain the confirmed routes which are downloadable for GPS devices. For us to provide the best support along the route and to avoid anyone waiting too long at the finish we request that all riders call into our two food stops and wait for all riders to arrive before setting off again, this allows everyone to ride at their own pace but have support close by if needed. As this ride includes a coach transfer back to Cambridge we will require riders to reach the two food stops by a certain time, if you are not going to reach the stops in time our support vehicle will pick you up and take you to the next food stop where you can continue your ride.

Well done to Simon and the team for a great event – a bit of everything, including the wind! Lovely food station. From all at Octagon Cycling Club.

The Slepe Morning Sportive’s food stop was excellent, the starting guy was very informative with rules and route information, and the ride was very well signposted – there was no risk of getting lost. The route was good: we didn’t have a lot of car traffic to contend with, which is my preferred way of cycling! I really enjoyed it overall, well done to all the organisers!

I thought the Slepe Morning Sportive was very well organised. The route marking left no doubt about where to go and it was a decent route and kept us off main roads most of the time. The food stop was excellent, the checking in was easy and the briefing for the start was magnificent. Good job all round!
